— Tolulope Osho, CEO and Co-founder Pesa
LAGOS, NIGERIA, October 23, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Global financial platform Pesa has announced a major community impact partnership with the Adekunle Gold Foundation to launch “We’re Not Done,” a charitable initiative created to empower frontline organizations supporting individuals and families living with sickle cell disease.

The partnership forms a core part of Pesa’s 5th Anniversary celebrations, representing a strategic investment in the brand's community equity and reflecting its core philosophy that relationships with customers extend far beyond financial transactions. To power the initiative’s launch and inaugural cycle, Pesa has committed a USD $20,000 charitable donation.

The funding will provide direct resources and support to selected frontline beneficiaries across key global corridors:
1. Sickle Cell Advocacy Management Initiative (Nigeria)
2. Not Just You (Canada)
3. Sickle Life (Ghana)
4. It Takes A Village (United Kingdom)

The “We’re Not Done” initiative combines wellness activities, psychosocial support, sickle cell screening, genetic counseling, and public awareness to strengthen the global sickle cell care ecosystem.

"As we mark 5 years of Pesa, we wanted to celebrate by giving back directly to the communities that have trusted us from day one. Our work has always been about more than moving money across borders; it is about valuing the people behind every transaction. The impact of sickle cell disease touches millions of families across the African diaspora; including our customers, colleagues, and loved ones. Partnering with Adekunle Gold allows us to turn our brand appreciation into tangible support for the frontline organizations delivering vital care."
— Tolu Osho, Co-Founder and CEO of Pesa

Adekunle Gold, Founder of the Adekunle Gold Foundation, added:

"We’re Not Done is about turning awareness into action. There are incredible organisations working every day to improve the lives of people living with sickle cell, and together with Pesa as our funding partner, we want to give them more resources to do that work and reach even more people."
Through "We're Not Done," the Adekunle Gold Foundation, with the funding support of Pesa, will continue combining resources, advocacy, and visibility to create lasting, measurable impact for individuals and caregivers affected by sickle cell disease.

Because for the sickle cell community, we're not done.
